Great case but not worth the price. : Thermaltake Level 10 GT Super Gaming Modular Tower Computer Case VN10001W2N (Black)

This was the first time I was building a computer. After a lot of research I wanted a Coolermaster Haf 932. But my wife did not like the way it looked and chose this one. She was right, what a great case to build your first computer in.

It is authentically large so whatever I could ever want will fit. I installed an Asus Sabertooth P67 motherboard, an Intel Core i7 2600K processor and on top of that a Thermaltake Frio cooler. The cooler especially is a huge device, but I still have about 1.5 inches of space with the door closed.

The standoffs for the motherboard were perfect, there were exactly 9 already there and they matched with no variance. I authentically liked the no-tool install for the optic drives. Being able to hide all the cables neatly behind the firewall makes the inside something you can be proud to show.

My one moment of fear was when I realized I had not bought a cage for my Ssd. I idea I would have to wait a few days for one. But the hot swapable bays have the screw holes already in. So all I had to do was to screw in the Ssd and it plugs in like any other drive.

The fans are very quiet. With the box sitting behing me, there is no noise at all and it looks authentically good in my office library. The case is very cool as the fans move air colse to effectively.

About the only negative is the front panel Usb 3 ports are not connected internally like the quarterly Usb 2 ones. Instead there are two blue connecting cords which you thread straight through the case to join together to the back of the case into the motherboard external Usb 3 ports. Not a big deal and you cannot tell once the cables are secured.

The Thermaltake Level 10 Gt is a an example of you get what you pay for. It is large, good looking and a dream to work in. If a case is important, you cannot go wrong with this one.
